Through the window of our relationship.
Shattering the trust,

TABLE FOR ONE

Angry words filled the air.
Evil gripped every stare.
When the door slammed, we were done.
I'm making dinner reservations
...Table for one.

The restaurant is filled with chatter,
Many couples… it doesn't matter.
We were having so much fun.
But not tonight -
...Table for one.

As the waiter turned from my view,
My thoughts quickly turned to you.
I start to swallow what I feel
Though I can barely touch my meal.

I can't get you out of my head
Shouldn't have said some things that I said
Perhaps you and I are not done.
But for this night -
...Table for one.
